I work with women who are ready to take action and improve their gut health in order to achieve long-term relief from IBS.

About Me

It was the year 2009, I was in my junior year of nursing school, on a very much needed winter break. I have always battled with inflammation issues (allergies, eczema, IBS) so, when I started to have some stomach discomfort 3 days into my break, I didn’t think much of it.

Fast-forward, I was hospitalized for a week, told my colon was so swollen they could not pass a scope for a proper colonoscopy. Once my inflammation settled, I had a lab test completed and was told I have a predisposition for Crohn’s. Meaning, I have a mutation in one of my genes that puts me at an increase risk for developing Crohn’s (an Inflammatory Bowel Condition).

Once back home, I became very interested in nutrition and decreasing inflammation in my body. I was determined to live a healthier lifestyle and fuel my body with whole foods. Once I made this change, I experienced an overwhelming change in my energy level, eczema, and gut health. Until this day, I have not experienced anything similar to that episode again.

Around 2016, I became interested in Functional Medicine because of the focus on root cause of illness. A large amount of health conditions and illnesses can be reversed with good nutrition and lifestyle changes. I have experienced firsthand how health can change by cutting out highly processed foods that drive inflammation and cause fatigue, weight gain and chronic skin issues. This is what led me on my journey to become trained and certified as a health coach in Functional Medicine. Once completed, I will be taking on clients.

I am passionate about helping others achieve good health. It’s amazing how great you can look and feel by making a few small adjustments to unhealthy habits.

Your journey to better health can start anytime.
